Does anyone know why a non-admin logged into their account when clicking the notification at the top to get new messages would be redirected to the membership level pricing table page (paid membership pro plugin running) instead of their messages??? They have the top level of membership that includes the private message ability.
Seems to only happen with non-administrative members. So basically everyone!
August 4, 2014 at 18:29 #246404bservicesParticipantTested again and it’s still happening.
Does anyone else have this going on?
August 7, 2014 at 19:44 #250574bservicesParticipantHELP!!! Any time someone tried to get their messages it goes to the membership pricing page.
August 8, 2014 at 15:45 #25183CatalinModeratorHello,
Sorry for the late reply.
That issue may come from a custom code you could have added in functions.php. Please give me valid admin credentials to be able to provide you a fix.
Thank you,

It’s been happening since almost the beginning.
Thank you for all the help!
August 10, 2014 at 03:23 #252684bservicesParticipantI saw you created an account – did you find anything helpful?
August 11, 2014 at 01:16 #253074bservicesParticipantCan anyone help us out. We have a number of people – including the client – very upset that they are getting messages that they can’t see.
I have duplicated their issue over and over and over and there isn’t any fix that I can find.
PLEASE someone help us!
August 12, 2014 at 14:49 #25404CatalinModeratorHello,
I have run some tests with on your site and the notifications tab point to the right place… Can you please tell me if you changed anything in the code? Or maybe give me an account example…
Thank you,

August 12, 2014 at 19:37 #254604bservicesParticipantHere is the video that I recorded showing that I sent a message from one JeepMingle account to another and the NON-admin JeepMingle account can not access the messages.

CatalinIf you actually CLICK on it then it doesn’t get directed to the right area. The only code we have changed is the code provided here on this forum site.
August 13, 2014 at 15:06 #25575CatalinModeratorHello,
I checked your functions.php file and you added custom redirect code for messages. I removed the code and please check if everything works as expected.
Please let me know what you want to achieve regarding messages in your website to be able to customize the code you used.
Custom coding is not support responsibility and you should hire a developer. I needed a lot of time to figure out your wrong code issue.
Thank you,

I found some structures of code that where added in this forum as examples for users that requested some custom functionality. Some of those codes need to be customized in order to work based on every clients need.
Thank you,
