ParticipantHello,
My members had some issues with my site buddy18.com
They get some error logs when they upload. And some video`s are not showing in google chrome and mozilla. Explore has no problems.
This is what they sent me:
“Currently, i’ve just uploaded 4 sets of 9 images (sounds familiar) on the fifth set, it was ’hanging’ on the last image. refreshed the page & started again, this time nothing is uploading. Closed the tab & started a new tab, it’s uploaded but slowly with the first image getting a HTTP Error & has since completed. Meanwhile i’ve tested my internet speed & nothing is wrong!
I’m getting to the point that its not worth uploading anything because of the frustration it causes & then I feel bad because I try probably a little too hard too get around it. It becomes my worst nightmare when I start trying to fix things on my computer only to find out there was nothing wrong to start with but meanwhile the attempts at fixing it causes problems that wouldn’t have gotten to start with.
Anyway, i’m just gonna shhhh. There’s nothing I can do anymore!”
And second one:
“Another Buddy18 Query!
I’ve uploaded some video’s, can only watch them using Opera but not using Chrome! I can watch any other video on both that i’ve previously uploaded just not the todays!
A few times I had the dreaded HTTP Error & not only with video but more often with images!
Now, is this possibly due to the fact Chrome isn’t being supported for my version of Windows? Or is it something to do with hosts running PHP4 and changing this to PHP5 from your end. (I did a little research about these HTTP Errors on the WordPress Support pages. Many people are experiencing the same thing. But the relevance to my not being able to view the video on Chrome… have no idea if that is the case!”
Hope you can help me out.
