everyone is connected/friends, without having to add them as a friend?

Hi,

is ist possible to let everyone, who is registerd, beeing friends with everyone, so that people don´t have to “add friend” explicit that the “add friend”-button disapears?
For example: so that everyone can invite everyone to a group, without having to add them as a friend before?

@lorndal you can try to go under Settings > BuddyPress and disable the “Friend Connections” component. I don’t assure it will make exactly what you need but you can at least try it.

I´ve tried that already. Thanks. But then it is not possible, to send invites to others to join a group.
And this should be an important function in our community.

Is there another option?

I just learned that I am having this problem as well. The ‘ADD A FRIEND’ button has gone away all of the sudden.

I re-installed my theme and it works again!

@lorndal, there are no other easy solutions, what you need might be achievable but most probably will require some custom developments.
