Facebook login broken after update to 4.2.4

Hi, I got a few wordpress with Kleo running version 4.2.2 and the facebook login works fine but  I’ve updated some of them to 4.2.4 and facebook login stop working (it’s the only change and diference).

On the browser console shows now a mixed content error when try to login. My guess is that makes a Ajax call to an unsecure url (http) and breaks the login process. I’ve tried to rollback to previus version with no success so somthing must be broken on the update.

As I said, all the wordpress instances worked fine before update.

Where can I test the facebook login on your site?

I cannot find the login pop up or URL

Anyway try to activate re-activate the theme and all plugins and check again

Hi.
Ok, this is weird, the wordpress located at https://abasedemusica.es/agenda/signin has start working after 3 days giving me that error. Now it doesn’t and nothing has change since a do not update or mess with it after open this ticket.
However other wordpress keeps giving me the problem (https://abasedemusica.es/coleccionismo/signin).

I looked at the generated (source) html document and I don’t find any “http” url but when I hit the facebook login a get the next console error:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://abasedemusica.es/coleccionismo/signin#’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint ‘http://abasedemusica.es/coleccionismo/’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Allowing mixed content just to try (obviously isn’t a solution) only changes the error to:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://abasedemusica.es/coleccionismo/. Response for preflight is invalid (redirect)

I test it today monday and the problem persists.

Investigating I’ve found more issues related to the wordpress login after update. The function wp_login_url($redirect) doesn’t redirect anymore it’s gets override somehow and when I login always redirects me to the admin panel.

This is giving me serious problems. I really need a fix soon.

UPDATE: I think I’ve found what was giving me the problem. It wasn’t Kleo theme after all but make me thing though cause the plugin that was creating the problem and the theme were updated at same time.

In case someone else have the same problem, the plugin it’s called “HideMyWP” and gives problems with version greater than 1.1.021
