Facebook Login Error

Please help with the Facebook login error Im having with Sweetdate.  It only happens on my tablet computer and cell phone, but not on my laptop computer.  Here is what the error says when I can’t log in or sign up with Facebook

Can’t Load URL: The domain of this URL isn’t included in the app’s domains. To be able to load this URL, add all domains and subdomains of your app to the App Domains field in your app settingse

This error didn’t happen before, but has only happened for about the past two weeks

Hi,

Please can you send me a screenshot of all of your relevant Facebook App’s settings so I can check them out.

Also, please let me know if your Facebook App was create before or after March 1st 2018.

Thanks for your reply, Kieran. I originally paid Laura to set up my Facebook login, and it worked well for months. So maybe you can ask her about this error too. I think she made changes to a PHP file.

I don’t see any relevant Facebook apps installed. Let give you my credentials, so you can inspect my setting:

My Facebook Login app was created before March. Why do you ask that? I uninstalled Facebook Login app, when this error started. I can still login with Facebook from my laptop without the error, but not on tablet and phone.

Hi,

I need to see screenshots of your Facebook APP settings which can be found at https://developers.facebook.com/apps/.

Apps created on or after March 2018 have different requirements of them from the Facebook development team.

I think because the theme it’s not updated to latest version.

Should I up date this WordPress Importer plugin. Will my SweetDate website be damaged or lost? Do you think it would solve my Facebook login problem?

Hi,

No, updating wp importer will not remove your content/settings and will not solve the facebook login issue, i want to mean to check from the same phone where not works facebook login at nfdates.com to our demo https://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/ , so the idea it’s to check the same device on both installas to see if it’s a general theme problem or a isolated issue.

Rqdu, I did check the demo on my phone, and could login with Facebook. But I’m still getting the Facebook login error on my website, NFdates.com

Go ahead and try your phone to see for yourself

IF on demo it works it means there it’s an isolated problem.

Did you had tried to re-upload the parent theme files over the existing ones by overwriting them ?

Update all plugins and also the theme!

Try again with all plugins and child theme de-activated except buddypress plugin.

The wp_debug throws some errors ?

Follow these steps to enable wp debug:

•  Connect to your server by FTP
• Look in root directory of your WordPress install and open wp-config.php
• Search for define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); and change FALSE value to TRUE

•   After this line add this:

define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

WP_DEBUG_LOG is a companion to WP_DEBUG that causes all errors to also be saved to a debug.log log file inside the /wp-content/ directory. This is useful if you want to review all notices later or need to view notices generated off-screen (e.g. during an AJAX request or wp-cron run).

Repeat the described actions and then check the debug.log file and let me know what error appears.

After you have disabled the plugins try to see if the error persists.
