Hi. Catalin gave me a link the other day to help resolve my Facebook login problem:

    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/facebook_login-problem

It was for KLEO theme and not Sweetdate. Please could you advise.

By the way, I followed the app development support – https://www.facebook.com/help/community/question/?id=542958419109491 – have an app ID and added a platform with the url being http://www.roomforlove.co.uk/

I placed the relevant info in the Sweetdate Miscellaneous settings but still get this message:

Given URL is not permitted by the application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App’s settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App’s domains.

I now also can’t login normally as a user. This was working before I changed servers, but don’t know if this is something simple I’ve not done in admin.

    Hi Catalin,

Noticed this support thread is now saying Not Resolved? Is that right?

    Hello,

I logged in your admin panel and the error when you hit the “Login with facebook” button comes from not configuring the Facebook application right.

Please take a look at this link:

    http://thechamplord.wordpress.com/2014/01/16/getting-the-facebook-app-id/

Also, you are using “www.” in the address on your Facebook App, try removing it.

Let me know if this works.

    Thank you,
    Catalin
