Facebook registration data

Hi, If you enable this, users will be able to register a new account using Facebook. This skips the registration page including required profile fields. 

The data fetched from fb profile is only the name and photo, I just setup the newly purchased theme and already facing this issue. There is more data I want users to fill before they start using their accounts, it works well with normal sign-ups but not with facebook. It’s a very basic need I have, how can I make it?

Using the next plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-force-profile/, after you signup with Facebook, will be redirected to your profile until you complete the required fields, this should be what you are looking for

Hi Radu thanks for the reply. Im in the process of trying the plugin. Biggest challenge I face right now is only the Base/Me section of fields show up in signup form whereas other field groups with fields marked REQUIRED do not show up, is there a solution for that.

Also Radu I have an issue with facebook login, on single fb login it fetches the details & does not login. It requires me to click twice and second login attempt works. If you might want to check it out my website is punjabisathi.com

@Radu Couple of other questions I have are 1. the search by age is not working for me, it always returns no members found and 2. do have a way to ajaxify the profile page, plugin or a hack?

Hi,

In the register page, only Base fields are shown, that’s the default behavior for BuddyPress, the only solution for that it’s to modify PHP files but you need to be a programmer or to hire one to can handle and develop the functionality custom as you need, our support cannot cover custom changes to the theme files, only guidance.

The Facebook login works, no problems just log in with Facebook in a single click

Ajaxify the profile page implies hard custom development that cannot be achieved by our support team, also I don’t know a capable plugin that can do that.
