    Hello, long time solved the error to retrieve the password for a user commenting the line:

    check_ajax_referer( ‘kleo-ajax-lost-pass-nonce’, ‘security-lost-pass’ );

    Now, I have detected another error when changing password. A user can not change his password through user settings (image 1). Password change actually occurs, but the database directly writes the string of the password without encryption (image 2). That is why trying to the user reenter, fails.

    I need a solution thanks

    Hi, I managed to solve the problem. It seems that the problem is in the last upgrade W3 Total Cache plugin. It’s a general problem as you can see: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/w3-conflicts-with-buddypress-crashes-bps-reset-password-feature

    The provisional solution is to disable the page cache, if the page cache is disabled everything works properly.

    In my case I have decided to use another plugin for my web cache: wp faster cache. Everything works correctly now.
