Hello,
Being new to Kleo i’ve been at a loss as to why the style options have not been having effect on the frontend of my site.
Now i’ve realised the styling options are held in dynamic.css file in uploads the following error from Chrome dev tools console explains the cause of the issue. But not why, as the file is present & populated.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
http://……………/wp-content/uploads/custom_styles/dynamic.css?ver=4.0.7
This issue is not only affecting this one file, it is also affecting other links. My google map javascript file (seen as an error in the console) but also media. I’ve encountered images not displaying where the links are good and content in place.
If i switch themes this error appears to go. My google js file is located and loaded (for example).
What could be the cause of this issue with Kleo?
Thanks

You have 4.0.7 in first instance try to update theme to latest version : 4.1.3.
You will have to update theme to 4.1.3 and after most important is to update Visual Composer, K-elements and Revolution Slider from wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins, press update for these plugins.
We have two methods for update
1. Automatic theme updates:
– Go to WP admin – Theme options – Theme Update
– Enter Themeforest username and API KEY
– Save the options
– Go to WP admin – Dashboard (link should be like: /wp-admin/update-core.php) and you should see the theme there if there is a new update available
– Click the checkbox next to it and click to Update themes2. Manually update theme by FTP.
– Connect to your server.
– Go to wp-content/themes/ and copy “kleo” folder to your computer so you have a backup of your old files.
– Extract kleo.zip that you have downloaded from Themeforest. Make sure the resulting “kleo” folder has a style.css in it. Delete on your server all files inside wp-content/themes/kleo and then copy all files inside “kleo” folder to your server in wp-content/themes/kleoImportant note : After you update the theme to latest version 4.1.3 please update the bundled plugins especially Visual Composer, K-elements and Revolutions slider.

Updated as suggested to 4.1.3, unfortunately getting the same errors but now appended with ver=4.1.3
(All the mentioned/install plugins were already upto date – no action taken)

K Elements did require updated, now on ver 4.1, no change in the errors.September 1, 2016 at 18:08 #134567mcadminParticipantPlease close ticket, this is not a Kleo specific issue.
(a taxonomy sql import / plugin issue, somehow, somewhere)
September 1, 2016 at 18:18 #134570RaduModeratorHi,
I saw that the dynamic file loads now, it’s ok ?
The error from console regarding this : http://tandem5.co.uk/nba/wp-content/themes/kleo/library/js/google-maps.js?ver=0.1 Failed to load resource: the server
It’s caused by some plugin because in theme we don’t include the google-maps.js… something modifies the google maps links try to de-activate plugins and child them and check again

I have resolved the issue, simply deactivated & reactivated all plugins. I’m at a loss as to the specific issue. Seemed to be triggered by toggling buddypress activity stream setting. :/
This can be closed, thanks for your help.
