Fatal error

I have added the Sportspress plugin and everything works fine except for the configure portion. When I try to configure any field I get a error 500. I took the issue to Sportspress and they troubleshot the issue and determined that there is the following error code:

( ! ) Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/public/wp-content/themes/kleo/kleo-framework/options/inc/class.redux_api.php on line 275

I have upgraded my hosting and have plenty of resources, I have also upped my memory and execution time.

Thanks for contacting us about this issue. Can you please try the following

– Disable caching
– Switch to TwentySeventeen (install it via WP Admin > Appearance > Themes > Add New if not already installed)
– Test the plugin again and let me know if you still receive the error

I switched the theme and did not experience the error.

– Admin credentials for you site (private reply)

Hi,

If you encounter the same using only parent theme (not child) please provide FTP credentials to check it. Make sure to have the theme upgraded to latest version

Just wanted to touch base on this. I can work around the error 500 by changing the theme back and fourth for updates, however the admin role issue is something that I will need to resolve before we can announce our site to our community.

Hello, I can’t reproduce your error. I installed the plugin and I am in the settings page but it works without error. Is this the screen you are referring to? See attach

Also make sure to have the latest theme version installed.

Hi,
Check now i had changed something under our theme file : wp-content/themes/kleo/lib/options.php

Please test and tell me if all running good,

A little thing, when you hover the theme options tab the subsections will not appear until you go directly under theme options page : http://hlteams.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=kleo_options

This it’s a temp fix until i speak with the core developer about this thing.

Both function, the configuring of the fields and the roles seem to be working. It did seem to cause some code to pop up on the home page that was related to the Geo Directory plugin, but I don’t use that and deactivated it and the code went away. So it looks good so far, thank you very much for your help. Keep me posted.

Testing again on my local install, For your info : i cannot get a error like you receive even with sportspress + geodir plugin activated.

So the issue may be caused by something else like a plugin or hosting settings itself.
