    After updating the sweetdate theme to the latest i get the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_set_theme_compat_feature() in wwwroot/wp-content/themes/sweetdate/custom_buddypress/bp-functions.php on line 2732

     

    buddy press version is Stable tag: 2.3.4

    wordpress 4.3.1

    I don’t see that function in the bp codebase.

    Nope, i was dumb and didn’t have correct version of buddy press. Disregard
