Favorite instead Like Button Plugin

Hi,

I am really gonna crazy because all like plugin make me sick and crazy. Wp-u like not have notification and broke theme css, buddypress-like lots of bug and i installed latest from github but not add like button after 20 activity or after load more button and sometimes i must refresh the page show like button, likebtn is crazy because hold our data in their server. Whatever. So i am very tired this…

1 – Can i use only bp default favorite? Also its work notification. Use only notification make any problem when any update or post favorited 500 or 1000 or more favortied count?

2 – How can i chance the star icon to heart with color? I search all forum but not show results…

Hello, some plugins may not be compatible with the theme, but we ensure that required plugins are always compatible.
Can you explain a bit more what do you need? 🙂

Ah Laura, i just need a buddypress activty like button with live notification and who liked, total like. Radu said before buddypress-like for buddyapp theme but i am not using buddyapp because i turn to Kleo. But installed lastest version of buddypress-like from github to KLEO but still live notification not working and dont show button after 20 activity (also developer talking about this on github).

WP-U like pluging dont have any notification. I tested likebtn but they are storing on their server. What will be happen in the fture this pluging, dont know.

So, how did solve your other KLEO user this like button problem? Missing something?

1 – If there is no other activity like button on the market, bp default favorite (with some fix, i know) button can be use instead like button? Is it make any problem if any shared content favorited 500 or 1000 different people or more?

2 – You know you have STAR ICON (favorite) on KLEO, i want to change to this star to heart… Sorry long message..

I bet minimum 25.000 PHP developer on the world and at least minimum 3 years work experince and totaly 75.000 hours work experince and no working like system very well.

Hello, for activity like try https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/rating-widget/ This plugin has an integration with buddypress, yu can choose to use thumbs up instead of a star rating so it would work like a LIKE
This is the best way i found

Dear Laura, i know this plugin and always want API and say
“Oops… Rating-Widget: Star Review System requires an access to our API. From unknown reason, the API connectivity test failed. It’s probably a temporary issue on our end. Just to be sure, with your permission, would it be o.k to run another connectivity test?

Yes – do your thing No – just deactivate” and dont like this plugin.

ALL WORDPRESS PLANET, no any like button? Is this really big problem? I am not looking for rating sytem. Will give live notification, who like (will show all member) content, total likes…

Whatever, lets solve my other question… 1 – I want to change KLEO theme favorite star icon to HEART -css? 2 – Think that any content favorited 500 or 1000 times by other members. Can this make any problem in the future?

For the hearts just add this to style.css of child theme

I put style.css on child theme not changed still its star… Also put quick css , not changed…

Also empty all cache pluging….

I saw Laura thank you so much your time… At the moment is possible to display full hearth? only border colored when i click… You know kleo post like, when you click its going full heart…. And if possible 🙂 which css change the color? Million thanks…
