    Trying to set Featured Image on the home page to be shown in social media like Facebook for example, when link is shared, but it keeps on pulling random images from the page. Any suggestions?

    Install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ This plugin will generate thumb and description for fb and more.
