Hello,

– Is there a way so a user can block another user only between them?

– How do I habilitate the contact item that shows as an envelope icon at the bottom of the index page? Tried to do it through the theme options at Built-in Contact Form, but when somebody sends a message, even though it shows that is was sent OK, mail never arrives.

– Block users : You can use wangguard plugin as it has a report feature
– Check if you have the correct email setup. It doesnt arrive from that form or all wordpress emails do not arrive?

Hello, thanks for your anwswer.

It seems that the issue is due to the high volume of messages sent through the server, so my host took them as spam and the system blocked the sending of mails.

They advce to use constant contact, but it is not compatible with buddypress. Is there any plugin you know that helps to send many mail messages not harming the server data??

Hello, buddypress messages? This is the server, i have never seen a server that had this issue, how many users do you have? I think its the server, maybe another one would be better

Hello,

The hosto help says that the issue is because mail are not bein generated by the registration form. Been trying to fid the way to check, but don’t find where. Could you tell me how?

I installed as well the smtp plugin. Hope it helps to make it better.

Hello, we can’t check your server as we support our themes and some wordpress issues, you would need to contact your server support. I’m sorry we can’t do much there.

The smtp plugin has to be setup, you will see it asks for a server, user, password, you can find this at email accounts – setup email at your hosting options

i understans thst you can not check my server. I mean that I don’t know where in the theme or buddy press can I configure the settings so the confirmation email can be generated properly. Or SMTP pulgin will solve that lack instead???

Hello, the SMTP is made to use your server email service directly instead of wordpress. its used when wordpress doesnt work.
SMTP settings will ask you for server, user, account and port

Go to your hosting CPANEL find EMAIL ACCOUNTS, select the email you want to use edit it and select CONFIGURE EMAIL CLIENT and you will find all info there
