font comment

Hi 7queen,,

l am wondering beside a font plugins for admin to write on the site, but is there a font plugin for the subscriber, users, etc to use in the forum, comment, etc area instead?

i.e, A dropdown font family at the comment like words or this image. people can highlight the words to change font.

Please advice if you know which font plugin will work.. Thanks

Hi,

We haven’t used never a plugin that allows users to comment with a custom font but you have to search on google for a plugin that allows you to do that.

I’ve searched on google and i found this : https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-visual-editor-comment/

You need to test this plugin, we have not tested the behaviour of the plugin on sweet

I like this plugin, thanks, but also is there’s a way I can put some kind of codes to populate the FONT-FAMILY in the sweetdate theme comment box (menu tool) visual editor? That will show/use the different fonts?

Update info: What I mean putting the font-family is for the frontend people to use in the visual editor!

Hi Radu,

Yes, this works great, I would just to add only like a FONT-FAMILY somewhere in the theme ,etc file so the FONT-FAMILY can be use in the editor.

I already have many plugins and try not to add extra in, unless I have too.

Please advice if possible, Thanks,

Unfortunately this isn’t an easy task and it’s also not widely requested so please try to find a plugin with the comment features you need.

Hi Andrel,

I found a plugin gives this feature and works great. I just thought there might be a way to input a button somewhere into the back-end of the sweetdate theme. I already have too many plugin and try not to install anymore that will slow down the site just for ONE feature that I want.

Such feature is not meant to reside into the theme, it’s a custom addon and should be a separate plugin.

If it’s not complex then it shouldn’t have any impact on your loading speeds.
