Footer and Socket Area

Hello,

I understand that the Socket and Footer areas are separated, with the socket below the footer. However something is very confusing in the Theme Options. When I modify the text in the “Footer Text” section in General Settings, it actually appears in the socket area.

I want to be able to have different background colors and other styling options for the footer and the socket (for example having the socket in blue and the footer in red), and change the text in the footer. Is there a way I can do that?

Hello, the footer has the sidebar sections so you can add widgets to t, and the socket is where you can type text, but if you dd a text widget to the footer you can also write there.
