Forcing users to choose username as display name

Hi Sweetdate.

When a lot of my users register at my site, they use their own name as “display name” on the website,
and not their username.

Is there a way to force users to use username as display name?

Hello, you can change the username field at users > profile fields and name it Display Name

Well yes, but is there a way to do it automatically?
Or else I have to do it every time somebody joins the site 😛

Hello, what i mean is that if you want them to use a display name instead of their name then change Name field forDisplay Name ( rename it) if you just mean the display name you need to change it manually

Well actually it didn’t 😛
By a coincidence three users in a row chose their username as display name,
so I thought it worked, but then two other users registered who used their own name.

But maybe I can just write something in the registration that remind people to choose their username as display name?

I changed the name in the registration page and that works, so the problem is solved now 🙂
