When i inspect that element, it comes up with this code (div.role-member.bbp-author-role)

However when I enter

div.role-member.bbp-author-role
{ display:none; }

into CSS edit, it still shows.
Has anyone hidden this properly on their site?

That works for me. Seems like you’re having a ton of css not working issues. Probably caching or cdn. Try clearing them.
