ParticipantHi, my site is for Trans Woman and Men. I want gender: Trans Woman – To be completely free, so only men will be paying for the site. I followed the instructions outlined here: https://archived.seventhqueen.com/sweetdate/article/free-females-free-males-membership-paid-memberships-pro
I went to functions.php in my file manager (my hosting is with siteground) went to code edit, and pasted the code in between the little bit of code you had on the top and bottom. I initially changed “woman” to “trans woman” twice (once on top and once on the bottom). After looking more closely to the instructions, where the instructions say how to make male users free, I noticed that only the bottom was changed from woman –> male, and the top was just “woman” (what I’m referring to in these examples is this: //Change the field value
$value_to_match = “Woman”; (I saw this twice, So the first (top) I left alone as is, and the second time (lower down) I changed from “woman” to “trans woman.” Regardless, none of what I did was affective. I signed up for the site with a different email and put my gender as “Trans Woman” but was still prompted to upgrade when I would go to send an email another member. Please advise. Thanks.
