Hello there, I created a website that has to have 3 membership levels, the Free level it’s supposed to be free for a year and then expire after a year. The users are following the sign up process and getting to selecting the membership level after this it gets stuck and no email to confirm the membership goes out or account is created.
Please help!

February 15, 2016 at 06:07 #103926yourownfriendParticipantI want to manually activate the users but I’m not even receiving the requests because they get stuck when they try to sign up, They get up to the part where they have to select a plan. The plan I have is a free membership for one year that will expire and they’ll have to pay after but when you get to the check out page nothing happens, there is no way to move forward.
February 15, 2016 at 21:43 #104032yourownfriendParticipantHello, I’m still waiting on your reply. — We are still testing the problem and it seems that the problem is not only with free memberships but also with paid ones. We disabled the pre-approving method and the problem was there. Something we discovered is that when we are logged in and want to “sign up” or choose another membership it does show the paypal button to finish the registration, once we are logged out this button disappears and the page says “Please Login or Register a new account in order to continue”. Users cannot continue to login or register because they are trying to register first, help please!

Mark as a solutionFebruary 17, 2016 at 14:12 #104287AndreiModeratorYou have something misconfigured, because the buddypress plugin is activated, on our theme pmpro will try to send you to the buddypress register page ( http://bareback33.com/register/ ) instead of using it’s own register fields and on your site, the above page is restricted, you can’t access it.
There are 2 solutions to this:
1. You remove the restriction from the buddypress register page ( http://bareback33.com/register/ ) and then users will go trough the bp register process and after they activate their account they could be guided by you somehow to go trough the membership levels & checkout pages.
2. There are some small changes that I could make on your pmpro checkout page in order to show the register fields even if buddypress is activated. ( I will need an ftp account for doing this ).
Looking forward to hear back from you.
Cheers
