Fresh Install with WordPress – Google Pagespeed showing 68/100

I’ve done a fresh install of wordpress into

/mywebsiteurl

I have installed jetpack, the theme, and the required plugins and nothing else.

When I link the main blog domain for posts, ( “hello world!”  ), Google pagespeed gives me this response:

68 / 100Speed

 

Should Fix:

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

Consider Fixing:

Minify CSS

Show how to fix

Minify JavaScript

Show how to fix

Leverage browser caching

I am not very tech saavy when it comes to some of this stuff, and it’s very confusing for me.  Can someone please let me know how to fix this?

Buddypress, and Woocommerce have been installed as well*
