Full Name on signup form

I was able to eliminate the Full Name on the register page based on the information here:
https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/how-to-get-remove-full-name-and-instead-use-username

But the mini signup popup form before that page is still asking for it.

Hello, find in your ftp files at Sweetdate > page-parts find general-register-modal copy it and paste it in page-parts folder of child theme (create it) then edit it and change the text 🙂

I know its an old thread but I need help with the same thing.

I copied the general-register-modal into the child theme folder.

Now to remove the full name part do I just remove the following text?

COPY CODE
