Full-width portfolio layout, but linked to individual pages?

I’m curious to know if it’s at all possible to have the full-width portfolio layout that you see here (http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/portfolio-full-width/), but have each indivual grid item point to an actual page that I’ve already created.

Basically, I really like the overlay, hover, and scale animation applied to the full-width portfolio, and I don’t see any way to lend these attributes to a simple grid of images using the visual composer.

The portfolio listing is created from the portfolio posts only and you cannot use your standard pages as portfolio items.
If you need, you can rename the Portfolio content type to whatever you want from “Theme Options > Portfolio”
