I love this theme so far, except for one thing that seem like a possible bug…
On a page (say the home page) I set up a bunch of customizations under the “general theme settings” section on the edit page. These are typical customizations, like making the header transparent, hiding the title bar, etc. When I hit update, it works fine, but when I make other changes on the page via the front end editor of visual composer, those settings get reset. I’d love to use this theme as my go-to theme for all my clients in the future, but this is a deal breaker because it means I have to explain this quirk to clients, which is of course simple for me to understand but not for the average client to remember…
Is there something I can do to get around this quirk, or is it a bug that can be fixed with an update?
Thanks

I couldn’t find much info on the subject since they dont appear to have a proper forum, but I do see that allowing the selecting of page settings on the frontpage is on their roadmap, so maybe it will work then. Either way, you might want to ask them about it: http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431/comments
For what its worth, I’ve been using VC for over a year and I never use the front page editor. Its a pain.
