I used the BuddyPress Default Data plugin (http://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-default-data/) to create fake user profiles. Everything worked according to plan except that on the homepage under “Members In Total” it only shows the original 4, and not the 25 fake ones I added. Why is this? Can it be updated to show the total number members (29)? Thanks

    Hi,
Make sure to check the option to import activity posts for users.
This makes buddypress aware of the users.

I checked that option. To be clear, the members are listed when I go to the members page, but under “All Members” it still says 4 not 29, event though it shows all the members. Strange, any other ideas?

Nevermind I figured it out. I had to install the “BP Disable Activation Reloaded” plugin to disable email activation and then manually create one profile, and the rest showed up!

I got this message when attempting to import users. Any ideas?

Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/date2lov/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-extended-friendship-request/bp-extended-friendship-request.php on line 338

That is an error related to a plugin of yours /buddypress-extended-friendship-request/
