GTMetrix gives F for how BP Group Avatar image is handled

Hi – I am getting ready to launch and am doing speed optimization on my site, using GTMetrix as a guide.

It is giving an F rating for “serve scaled images’ on my Kleo homepage and my developer can’t figure out how to fix the issue as it is part of the Kleo structure. See the attached screenshots and the chat with my developer about the issue. Basically WordPress is seeing the method of the Buddypress Group Avatar image sizing that gets served up in three places as a “critical” issue and thus GTMetrix gives it an F score.

Would you please take a look and see what you can advise on how to fix? If you need a better more detailed explanation from my developer, please let me know.
