Header 50% transparency

Hello!

Is it possible to change the level of transperancy in the header?
I changed it on each site and edited the style under theme options -> styling options -> header -> background colour to transparent … but its 100% transparent … 🙁
I would like to have this effect like in safari browser under OS X yosemite. the adressbar is not complete transparent but i can see contours and colours through it 😀
