Header Theme Option not updating

I keep changing the image in the header and saved it, but it does not update on the site. I have tried viewing it in multiple browsers and have even tried reinstalling the theme, but nothing fixes it.

I found a makeshift plugin that seems to correct it, however I have to deactivate it and activate it everytime I change the heading layout

Try putting this in your child themes functions.php file.
