[HELP] Theme Spamming Issue

Hi,

My hosting provider has suspended my website at the moment, this is because they have found an issue in the theme.

They quote:

“To be clear the theme used is causing an email to be sent to wordpressslog@yandex.com whenever someone visits the website homepage.”

Please could you advise me on why this is happening?

Hi, It can’t be related to the theme since we do not include things like that. Check your plugins or maybe you got a virus. Try to replace theme files with ones from a theme archive if you think your files are corrupted.

Thanks for the reply, yes you care correct, the hosting provider got it mixed up, it was a plugin causing the issue. Its all fixed now thanks.
