I’m still having a problem where the Visual Composer displayed shortcodes in the top box. For instance in Home Pinterest it shows vc_columnvc_column width=”1/1” in visual composer. And I’m trying to change the background and won’t let me at which point it changes somehow and the sample background disappears and I can’t do anything????
Can you provide some screenshots so that we can understand more exactly what you’re trying to do ?

Did you tried to manually edit those shortcodes from the plain text editor, that’s the only thing that you might have broken it’s structure integrity.
I recommend you to delete the page and re-import it, that would be the quickest way to fix it, sure if you didn’t already made lots of modification into it.

I didn’t edit it in text editor. I delete the page fully and reinstall it but it still comes up like that. I also noticed on about half or so of the sample posts and pages this problem exists. I really don’t see where the problem is coming from.
Then you either have the K-Elements plugin inactive or you have made some defective settings into Visual Composer settings.

This can be caused by lack of K-Elements plugin.
You need to activate and update to latest version K-elements plugin.
You this not solve your issue please provide admin credentials to take a look.

I’m having a problem where the visual composer only work’s in pages and wont work on Portfolio or Posts when editing them. The sample Posts and Portfolio items just show the shortcodes when I go and edit them. Any ideas?
