Everyone can see my groups, members and activity page without logging in, I locked down each page so that only members can view it, but its not working

I don’t understand you want me to install buddy press and install buddy press members only? Will I lose my groups?

Hello, buddypress members only is a plugin that lets you hide buddypress pages only for guests so logged in users can view it but others dont
