Hide whitespace under footer

In the new theme connect Vertical I can not figure out how to hide white space under footer I have used the check boxes in theme options under however when I hide socket area it shows more white space and I also see more white space when I tell it to hide footer as well. However all I am trying to do is make it more like the demo without the white space under the copyright info.

I dont see any whitespace under the copywrite on the homepage. In any case, that condition will happen if you have very little content on the page. (look at your contact page) Do a search here for a fix. Its been asked and answered at least 2 times (from what I remember).
