ParticipantHi there,
I have seen on your documentation that you can add a form to the home page, but it is not possible in my sweetdate version. I have tried to add the mixed form but nothing comes up and there is no where to do any of this outlined below, can you please explain as this is one of the reasons I bought the package. Thanks
Homepage
Here you are able to select what type of form you want and set the image for the Home page.

ModeratorHello, please go to Sweetdate > Buddypress and check the field you want to show on both forms then the form should appear 🙂

Participanthi there,
i only have the membership form and the horizontal form and they wont appear on the fron page using the Sweetdate/Homepage resource. It’s seems as though something is missing. I dont seem to have all of the options you explained in the documentation, about the homepage tab.

Participantoh ok spotted it, but to be honest I dont want to share my admin with anyone. Can you just tell me how to remove the looking for a man / looking for a woman from the registration form. Tried to do it in registration php but it’s not working. Could you send me a copy of the php page with this removed, I dont want to create a dating site you see, I want it to be a social networking site, where I can add these a parimeters once memebers have signed up, having this on my registration page is discouraging sign ups .
thanks in advance

ParticipantI found this post on your site from last year and it is exactly what I am looking for. I would really appreciate you giving me a solution to this, I have tried and failed to sort it out for days.
I am using this theme for students to find collaboration partners for a science & art event, so I do not want the Marital Status field, and I would like to either remove the “I am a ___ Looking for a ___” field or edit the drop down menu to have Science Student and Art Student instead of Man and Woman. Where can I edit the initial registration page that has this? All I can find in in the Sweet Date > Buddypress options are for the search form and not for the registration form.

ParticipantI just found the answer myself and feel like running naked down the street shouting ‘Eureka’ he he.. It was under users/profile fields as you undoubtedly know,,, however; as a newbie I am really happy, we all start off somewhere 🙂
