Home Page not Showing up with CommentPress

I was trying different widgets then installed CommentPress Core, after installation half post options disappeared, the web automatically self switched to wordpress default theme twentysomething, and site wouldn’t load for 10 minutes.

Fortunately I could switch back Sweet Date theme, but the problem now is my default index is now the post page I crashed with while testing CommentPress Core. How can I make index show the old correct default Home page?
