    Hi there,

I been trying to use the Home Register Demo page as my register page for my website. I‘ve followed the steps on a youtube video I found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELX3yaINp20 but I still can’t get it working yet…

Could you please give me some instructions on how to do this?

    Thank you!

Hello, ok so the page looks fine http://billyu.life/home-register/ so you want the modal Create an account link to this page? Also remember that all register forms redirect to the full registration form of buddypress

I can help you wit the modal change if that is what you wanted 🙂

Thank you for your reply! Yes, the page is fine. However, when I set it as register page in Buddypress settings, Buddypress still uses the default register page… I’m not sure if that is the modal problem… if it is please help me change it, thank you! Also, I didn’t really understand what you said about all register forms redirect to the full registration form of buddypress. Does that mean if I use the home register demo page, the user has to register twice?

    Thank you!

Hello, yes if you set is as register page buddypress will replace the content, because all registration using buddypress is with the full form.

The home-register captures those fields you see, and redirect to the full registration with those fields already filled, is like a pre-registration page usually used to explain a bit about your site and the design of the page itself to engage on registration. Then the advanced detail needed are done at the full register page
