For romanceheroesandnovels.com .. in theme options –> miscellaneous –> homepage redirect. I have (and have had for a while) the option of “redirect to current user profile or author page”
Up until a few minutes ago, that function would always redirect the user to their own profile (which is a functionality I like, at least for now).
However, that function seems to have randomly stopped working, despite the option still remaining selected. Now, when going to romanceheroesandnovels.com, it brings users to the “community” page. Before, it would bring them to their profile.
The only major change I made was I made the “register” page the “home” page. I don’t know if that would have any effect on this or not. Also, in miscellaneous –> homepage redirect.. I notice it says “Default: Disabled” .. I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything, and I don’t recall one way or the other if that was their prior to me making the register page into the home page a few minutes ago.
To summarize, if possible, it would be nice to have users redirected to their profile when they type in romanceheroesandnovels.com to their browser (or click the top left “romance heroes and novels logo”) as long as they are logged in. Let me know what the options are regarding this, thanks!
