Homepage setting

i try to chhange the homepage setting, i try to make my website similar to the http://seventhqueen.com/demo/sweetdatewp/
but changing the “home” setting in the main menu on Sweetdate theme nothing change….
i try to change the “header setting in the page editor and i get the fullsize slider, but i can’t ad the search box. 🙁
