The search member horizontal bar is an absolute mess. Misaligned and bits all over the place.
Any idea how to clean this up?
Still not entirely sure why you think it’s acceptable not to reply to tickets. I’m going to have to report this fraud to Envato.

We are releasing SweetDate 3.0 that will allow you to define multiple search forms. You could have a sidebar in the members page and show it there with many options looking good.
I don’t understand why you say your tickets aren’t being answered, I see you opened the tickets today. Please allow around 24 hours for replies and also consider the weekends that are off.
Cheers

Do you know when 3.0 will be realised?
Is there any way to include additional fields? Or have an advanced search at present? The whole system is quite ineffective at present without them. I have installed BP Profile Search but it doesn’t seem to pick the right gender.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
August 8, 2017 at 11:33 #169945AbeKeymasterVersion 3.0 will be released on 15th this month. You will be able to build multiple forms, one can be an advanced form with many fields and can be added to a sidebar on members page.
Cheers

The depreciated homepage and horizontal search bars kind of work. But as before I am still having problems with the matching fields when using BP profile search. I have spent days and days trying to get the correct gender to show. When a male user selects looking for female, male users come up and visa versa. This make the entire search form useless and therefore website useless.
Please can you give this some thought – you have yet to provide an answer, that was useful or correct.
September 4, 2017 at 15:55 #172606AbeKeymasterHi, you need to do a small trick. We did it on our demo and also in the demo imported content. You add the field “I am a” but set the label as “Looking for”. Same goes to the “Looking for a” which should have the label “I am a”.
This needs to be done because you are actually searching in profile fields.
Let me know if it works. See the attached image as a refference

That’s great thank you.
Is there anyway to allow for a someone to search for both genders? Or would this look weird, when the user is filling out the “I’m a”?
Thanks.
September 11, 2017 at 14:35 #173243ladliftParticipantAlso, one problem we are having:
When a selection from the profile dropdown menu is selected the “This field can be seen by: Everyone” is given a width of 18px.
This is started to happen since the update.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
September 13, 2017 at 11:33 #173514AbeKeymasterthat should be applied by BuddyPress via javascript, You could change it with CSS and adding an !important to the width value
