I have purchased the Kleo theme twice and am about to do it for a third time. I love your work and have had a blast building my new websites.

I am running into an issue because I am consolidating the different sites/domains under one hosting account/VPS.

I asked my hosting service for help and received the following:

“I apologize for the delay and for the inconvenience. You will need to
first backup everything on your account you are moving from including the
databases. Once that is done, you will need to delete the domains and add
them to gaining account. When that is done, you will then have to update
the “wp-config.php” files with the new database names etc. I hope this
helps. If you have any further questions, please feel free to message us
    back. :)”

Can you help me understand how to “update the wp-config.php files so this works?

This is not Kleo related, but if you look in your wp-config.php file, there are variables for your database name. If your new database names are different than your old ones, you’ll have to change them.

Depending on how you are “moving” these sites will depend on what you need to do to make them work. If you sticking with the same hosting service and you dont have to move to a new database server, then you wont have to change the database names.

Read this. It has everything you need to know, including editing wp-config.php
