How can I have "Feature Items Grid" with 4 items in 1 row?

If I create a new “Feature Items Grid” and set it to 4 items per row, then add 4 items it will create a 4 column grid with 2 rows and start filling up the rows first before switching to the next row.

How it should be:

A B C D

Reality:

A C
B D
