    Hello,

    On the Slider Revolution page it says there is an update available but I can’t find anywhere on my site dashboard to update.

    Just this message, and I cant find the solution.:

    If you purchased a theme that bundled Slider Revolution

    • No activation needed to use to use / create sliders with Slider Revolution
    • Update manually through your theme
    • Access our FAQ database and video tutorials for help

    Hi Barney,

    Currently the version we have bundled into KLEO is 5.4.7.4A, if that is not the version you have in WP Admin > Plugins then you can update it by going to WP Admin > Appearance > Install Plugins.

    You’ll have to make sure you have setup automatic updates for KLEO via WP Admin > Theme Options > Theme Update otherwise you won’t see any plugin updates available.

    If you haven’t setup this option yet you can follow these support articles for assistance

    Note: With regards to 5.4.8 I have sent a message to the KLEO core developer to review the update and include if immediately compatible.

    Ah wonderful Kieran, thank you so much.

    It’s just I have now made the site live! Which I love!

    But the slider revolution is not displaying the correct category I selected in the settings. It works on the test site but not on the live.

    I wondered if it was because of update.

    Hi,

    Thanks for sending the link but without seeing the test site I have no context with regards to any issues.

    Are you running the same version on test as your are on live?

    Did you do a full migration when you moved from test to live? If so, double check that the settings are still correct in the slider, even if they are, save them and test.

    No, I replicated the steps and installed it live, so I may have missed a setting, I’ll double check.

    Is it possible to delete the News Magazine slider and import it again from demo data to start fresh?

    Hi,

    My apologies! I have seen your site previously, have you posted in the Facebook KLEO community group before? Either way it looks really nice – great job!

    You can always import / export sliders in Slider Revolution – so if you have it setup perfectly on your test site you can export it directly from test and import to live. See here for more information: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/import-export-replace/

    You can delete the slider if you wish and import again from the demo content in the theme. Download all files from ThemeForest and use the file named news-magazine.zip – import directly into Slider Revolution (as per steps in link above).
