How do to translate English to Spanish date.

hello, I want to translate the date returned by this function :bp_last_activity (bp_displayed_user_id ());
Function: bp_last_activity (bp_displayed_user_id ());
File: menber-header.php.

First thing you need to have WordPress in Spanish language.
Then you need to make sure all strings from buddypress are translated in your language. You can check with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
