Mailchimp is an email campaign sign up form. What I’m after is a way for users to subscribe to the blog posts only. So each time a new blog posts is released they automatically receive in an email.

Hello, mailchimp is used also for that, another option is https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-subscribe/ using feedburner
