How send Buddypress user password reset link?

When a Buddypress user forgets their password, how do I send them an email to reset their password? In my tests, I do receive the activation email, but I’m not sure how to send the password reset email.

I found in the BP documentation that this is where the reset function is, but what do I do now to put an active reset link on my site?  bp_settings_action_general function in the /bp-settings/bp-settings-actions.php file.

Hello, at the login form you should be able to see forgot password link, and for you to do it at the admin dashboard you need to go to Users > Edit the user and generate a new password then send them the email so they can change it later
