How to add and display users country

As the title says, id like users to choose from a county and have there location displayed in profile. Is there anyway to do this?

Add the field to xprofile wp-admin -> users -> profile fields. Do a google search on how to quickly add all possible countries. (there’s probably a plugin for it)

Then once the field is created it will show up in their their profile when you click on the profile tab. But if you want it to show up next to their avatar at the top of the page then do the following.

Copy the /kleo/buddypress/members/single/member-header.php to your child theme.
