Hi,
How can i add rel=”nofollow” attribute to links in Kleo button shortcodes? I added it to the shortcode manually but it doesn’t seem to process it, it slips the rel=”nofollow” part from the shortcode.
I also tried several plugins to automatically add rel=”nofollow” but they don’t work either. I need rel=”nofollow” everywhere i am using external links through Kleo button shortcodes.
Thanks,

Download, Unzip and put the kleo_button.php file into wp-content/themes/kleo-child/k_elements/
You will have rel nofollow to the a element.
Cheers

However, I did not have kleo-child folder so i manually created the directories and placed the file inside, but it did not work.
But, I did find k_elements/ directory on this location /wp-content/plugins/k-elements/shortcodes/templates and i replaced the kleo_button.php file inside it.
It did work and now i can see nofollow attribute on buttons, but is this also correct? Let me know if this is not the way and i will revert the changes.
I did take backup of original kleo_button.php file just in case.
Thanks
April 13, 2016 at 17:44 #116297RaduModeratorIt seems that you don’t have the Kleo child theme.
First please install Kleo child theme, you will find it in main package form themeforest, before installing child please save your parent theme options ( go to import/export -> export then activate child theme and import settings. )
Then follow this reply : https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/how-to-add-relnofollow-in-kleo-button-shortcode/#post-116008
It should work i’ve tested
Cheers
