How to add submenus

I’d like to be able to add submenus under my menu items on the left sidebar.  I don’t see a way to do that. If i make a page have a parent page it still doesn’t show up.

Hello, to the sidebar? Do you mean widgets at Appearance > Widgets? or at Appearance > Menu

Hello, just move a new menu item under another and you should see its placed inside of it as a submenu
