How to change sidebar of buddypress pages

Hello,

I cannot figure out how to choose another sidebar for buddypress pages. When editing the i.e. activity page (backend under pages, there I have tried to change the sidebar) this is no effect on the actual front end page.

Do you have a hint?

Thank you for your help!

I had found that section before, but on frontend the sidebar area is just empty. However before I selected my preferred sidebar, the main sidebar did show up. Do you have any ideas what this could be caused by?

Hello, the issue seems to be coming from your header.php of child theme, please check it out by deleting some of the custom code and checking it the sidebars show

Dear Laura,

Thank you. I have just checked the heapder.php. I have never done anything manually to that file actually. Do you have a hint on what code there exactly causes the issue? It must have been added by some plugin.

Hello, there was code in the header.php, if you dont know what is it, just delete it 🙂
