how to disable “updates.seventhqueen.com”

Hello,

 

Our server is located in China, Asia pacific, and any global connections will cause our site seriously delay.

We spent several months to try all our best to provide our user with Fast speed experience.

But today, the hosted technicals send us a screenshot which show the reason why our site is still quite slow, since there are backend connection with “updates.seventhqueen.com”. please check the screenshot:http://prntscr.com/gfhbrp

I did not activate those plugins like go_pricing, essential-grid, revslider…anyway, I do not hope it keep checking update.

I tried to block it, but it will create thousands of records to make big datebase records.

I can understand what “updates.seventhqueen.com” does, but we hope you can really show understanding that the speed is crucial important to us, and any global  connections with sites even like google, twitter, Facebook, yahoo… etc would be block by our government(there is a national Firewall gateway), and  I have to use VPN even view wordpress.org. To be frank, we are actually in a big intranet not internet.

So,  would you please do me a favor to let me know how to remove that connection in Kleo theme?

Hi,

Using the latest theme of KLEO the request and check to updates.seventhqueen.com will be made only when you access wp-admin -> appearance -> install plugins, using older versions the check was made always in wp admin.

You can completely de-activate that by going to: /wp-content/themes/kleo/lib/required-plugins.php at line 374 and 404 and comment the marked lines

Thanks, I asked the VPS technical support to do as you show, but after that, I found some new connections and Warnings above Kleo theme option:
