    Hi,

SSL is enabled all over my site but as far as I see geonames does support HTTPS in premium subscription (http://www.geonames.org/commercial-webservices.html). So auto-complete does not work and gives warning.

Do you have any recommendation on this issue (other than premium subscription for a while), a workaround or something like that to make auto-complete work in an HTTPS enabled website smoothly?

Disabling SSL does not seem to be a solution to me since registration and search pages include auto-complete, but maybe there is a trick that I dont know about.

By the way I have already tried to change the query address to https://api.geonames.org, but that did not work either 🙂

    Best wishes,

Hi, If it supports HTTPS only in premium then you need to use that.
Also to work with HTTPS in wp-content\themes\sweetdate\custom_buddypress\kleo-bp-city-auto.php change from http://api.geonames.org/searchJSON to //api.geonames.org/searchJSON

Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solution
